Virtual Meetup: TextTemplate

Hi Community,

I am very happy to announce our next Virtual Meetup, this Thursday, the 12th of November

This week Bill Eisner will give us a presentation about TextTemplate.

Bill is a software architect and computer consultant in the Washington DC area. Over his extensive career, he has been involved in collaboration, messaging, and workflow systems as well as a variety of projects, including a commercial product, Calendar Creator for Windows. Academically, he was a very early participant in research activities involved with machine learning and the automated transcription of stenography, and briefly served as an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University.

This presentation will be about TextTemplate. TextTemplate is an open-source templating system, which comes with its own editor. The presentation will focus on the goals of the project, the language syntax, the methods, and its composition algorithm.

How to connect

After the summer we moved the meetup one hour earlier! From now on we will host them at this time.

If this is your first meetup you will find all the instructions to connect here:

(Long story short: click here Launch Meeting - Zoom)

It is hosted on Zoom at 6PM GMT+1/CET (you can use this link to figure out which time is in your timezone: Dateful Time Zone Converter).

Cheers,
