Hi, I'm Pubudu Fernando

Hi all,

I’m Pubudu Fernando and I’m currently working as a Software Engineer (almost 3 years now) working on developing Ballerina. I used to work on developing the standard library modules of the language and now mainly working on developing the front-end of the compiler with some occasional work on the backend too at times. Got to know about this community from Federico’s tweets and signed up (his ANTLR tutorial was helpful in getting started with ANTLR quickly :slightly_smiling_face:). I’m excited to be a part of this community and consider this as a great platform to learn and get help related to language engineering.

Thanks,
Pubudu

Hi Pubudu, thank you for joining us!
Congratulations also for the success obtained by Ballerina. I think a lot of developers dream to work on a language that successful.
I am so glad you liked my tutorial on ANTLR!

Thanks Federico! It’s open source. So if you or anyone is interested, feel free to take a look at https://github.com/ballerina-platform/ballerina-lang (the implementation) and https://github.com/ballerina-platform/ballerina-spec (if your interest is towards the design of the language itself).
