Hello there! I’m Sam Pottinger, an open source developer / maintainer for Processing and currently the Director of Data at EVERY. I’m in the (food) sustainability space now but previously was in health and more traditional tech stuff.
My most recent work has been playing in the intersection of game design, data visualization, and data science (which has involved some DSLs for democratizing modeling)! I also make other weird tools for creative coding and accessible modeling involving language engineering.
I joined the forums for the community! I don’t frequently run into other language engineers in my line of work but would love to meet y’all and learn more here. Day to day, most of my language eng work is in ANTLR.
