I like that it separates the two topics in a way that I have not seen in online forums.

Indeed! But also insightful: though I expect most people lurking here to be at least intuitively aware of the difference between building a compiler and designing a language, was still a fun read.
Furthemore, there are seemingly several good books mentioned that I haven’t seen before (and some which I did), will check them out.
