Hi all!

I’m very new to the community, so let me give a brief about myself first (you can always skip this 🙂 )

I am a Compiler Engineering enthusiast, have explored around a bit, and made some amateur attempts at creating a DSL of my own.

However, this one is for real, and quite ambitious a project. Here is what I intend to do:

A language to make user interfaces. Now, a lot many exist in this - but I intend to make it a language wherein the components are defined using key-value pairs (CSS, you might say) but the intention is to make the readability and writing a whole lot easier. Specially when we start to define effects and animation.

I have a syntax framework outlined, and have fixed upon Ocaml for the implementation.

Would you say its worth the effort? Or find another track?

Any opinion is appreciated 🙂
